Dear Ms Heburn, Ever since I was seven or so, I remember loving your work. The first ever movie I saw was Desk Set, where my mother sat me down and said that I would like it, even if it killed me! To this day, Desk Set and many other films you produced, including Pat and Mike, Guess who's coming to dinner and Lion in the Winter, are my all time favourites. Although I have never had any desire to become an actress, your work showed me that I could do anything that I wanted, which for about 4 years, since I was 14, has been to be a Scientist. Dear Katharine, I hope you're well. My name is Paula Kerr and I live in Adelaide South Australia. I write to tell you how much I admire your work in the movies. My most favourite movie is "Pat and Mike". I love the quirky humour and particularly your portrayal of the multi-talented and "vulnerable in love" Pat. The scene with the giant tennis racquet always raises a huge belly laugh from my good self. I also enjoyed "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" immensely. There were some very special moments in that movie that stay very clear in my memory. The icecream scene in the car, when Spencer's character is trying to remember the flavour of icecream he liked so much. I loved that. In fact I developed a taste for boysenberry icecream after that myself. But the scene that melted my heart was when Spencer Tracy's character declared his love for your character with a warm lingering gaze. I wish you the very best my dear. I would love to hear from you.
